Image Choice Questions — Visual Answer Options

TL;DR: Image choice is a new question type where each answer option is an image instead of (or alongside) text. Built-in Unsplash search helps you find relevant photos without leaving the builder.

#Why images

Some questions work better as visuals. "Which style do you prefer?" is easier to answer when you're looking at actual examples instead of reading descriptions like "modern minimalist" or "warm rustic."

Image choice questions are useful for:

  • Design preferences — let respondents pick visual styles, color palettes, or layouts
  • Product feedback — show product variants and let users choose
  • Food & hospitality — menu items, venue options, room types
  • Quizzes — "Which of these is a cumulus cloud?"
  • Brand perception — "Which logo resonates most with you?"

You don't need to prepare images in advance. The builder includes an Unsplash search that lets you find and add high-quality photos directly. Search for "modern kitchen" or "mountain landscape," pick the images you want, and they're added to your question with proper photographer attribution.

You can also upload your own images if you have specific assets to use.

#How it works

Image choice questions display a grid of images. Respondents tap or click to select. You can configure:

  • Single or multiple selection — allow one pick or several
  • Image labels — optional text labels below each image
  • Scoring — assign point values to image options for quizzes and assessments
  • Limit selections — cap how many images respondents can choose

On mobile, images stack vertically for easy tapping.

#Availability
